Universal Orlando Resort may have some long lines at times. Still, they also have a Virtual Line feature for a few rides, such as Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida.
The Virtual Line still requires a wait but helps Guests to not stand in line for hours when wanting to ride some of the more popular attractions as they are called when it is their turn to wait in line. It seems that Universal Orlando Resort has recently made some tweaks to their Virtual Line.
This system is currently in its testing phases, and eventually, it will fully roll out as the official Virtual Line tool at Universal Orlando Resort. Below, you can take a look to see how the Virtual Line will work when you visit Universal!
As you can see below, Guests will need a Virtual Line account and will need to make a reservation.
To activate your account on the Universal Orlando app, you will need to “Activate Virtual Line”. Afterward, you will need to select the party size. Then Guests must create their account and accept and confirm.
Once you find the attraction you want to ride, click on “Get on Now”. You will then be given a time to go to the attraction.
Once it is your time, you will have a QR code available to show a Team Member so that they can scan you and your party in.

Once the system fully rolls out, it will be interesting to see if Universal Orlando Resort adds more attractions to their Virtual Line list — considering they are making an entirely new system for Virtual Lines.
