Universal Orlando Resort is very active on social media and oftentimes includes their Guests in their conversations!
The Twitter account is very conversational with their audience, so many tend to jump into the conversation quite often. Most recently, Universal started a full-on sing-along on their Twitter account to the classic song from Shrek, “All-Star” by Smash Mouth.
Universal Orlando Resort (@UniversalORL) Tweeted:
Let’s see if we can thread this perfectly with the lyrics to All Star. We’ll start. ?
“Somebody once told me,”

Surprisingly, all the responses to the thread were made pretty perfectly! With people commenting from around the world at different times, the possibility of missing a line or repeating one is quite high, but that did not happen often. Ashley Basiukiewicz (@sassyyyashleyy) made it to the second chorus with the help of many other Universal (and Shrek) fans helming the way.
My world’s on fire, how about yours?
That’s the way I like it and I’ll never get bored

Universal’s Twitter account can also get pretty sassy, as we have seen in the past. Recently, the theme park cracked a joke about the Guest who attempted to steal a cucumber from Disney World. They tend to call out rule-breakers often, so if you do not want to be at the butt of their jokes, make sure that you are always behaving accordingly when visiting any Orlando theme park!

The Twitter account also pokes fun at Disney, joining in on Disney-inspired holidays such as May the Fourth and more! At the moment, all Universal social media accounts have a lot of eyes on them as many Guests are waiting for more Halloween Horror Night houses to be released, all of which are announced via social media!
