Roy and Stella continue:
“The bed is a queen sized Murphy bed, providing ample space for activities during the day and a super comfortable sleep during the night. The accommodations are simple: there are sinks, with running water, both inside and outside the hobbit house. There is a small closet to hang clothes, a wood-burning fireplace and built-in desk. There is also a small bar (on rollers) stocked with basic cookware, glassware and cutlery. There is no refrigeration system (no electricity), but we do have a top-of-the-line YETI cooler to keep any perishables cold, provided you bring your own block of ice. There is a Coleman propane camping stove provided, allowing you to cook indoors, or outdoors.”
“Outside there is a fire pit BBQ, propane BBQ grill and an on-demand hot outdoor shower and flush toilet. There are plenty of seating areas, whether you would like to bring a chair(s) out around the fire pit, or sit on top of the living roof. The hobbit house is surrounded by hiking and walking trails and guests have access to the main house to use electrical outlets or the hot tub, both of which are a short walk (about 250 feet) from the hobbit house.”
The photos taken by Roy are stunning and most likely can’t fulfill the real beauty of this stunning Airbnb. This Tolkien fan is holding back the tears.
Amazingly enough, the owners, Roy and Stella, fell in love in this very Hobbit home when Stella visited the beautiful place for herself (like Samwise Gamgee and Rosie Cotton?) in 2018!
