Credit: Disneyland ResortHalloween season is almost upon us and Disneyland is gearing up to celebrate the spookiest time of the year! In addition to the Halloween overlay of the Haunted Mansion — which will close down next month for three weeks as it receives a Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion Holiday makeover –, Disneyland has also started selling tickets for its Halloween party, Oogie Boogie Bash.
Tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash — which will once again be held at Disney California Adventure — went on sale on July 13 and Guests bombarded the Disneyland website. The event was so popular that Guests waited hours and had to deal with site crashes and pending charges for tickets they never received. Thankfully, things have since calmed down and Guests can now visit the Disneyland website, wait just a few minutes, and select their tickets from a number of available dates.
As expected, Halloween night, as well as several other dates in September and October quickly sold out. However, if you were hoping that more tickets might become available, then Disney has heard your wishes! All dates, with the exception of October 30 have been restocked.
While October 30 remains sold out at this time, it is possible that Disneyland could decide to add more availability to that date in the future. If that is the date you would like to attend, it is important to keep rechecking the Disneyland website.
Oogie Boogie Bash first began at Disneyland California Adventure Park in 2019, replacing Mickey’s Halloween Party. Unfortunately, the popular Halloween party had to be canceled in 2020 because the theme parks were shut down due to the pandemic. This year, Oogie Boogie Bash will return in all of its glory and will have a number of fun events including immersive treat trails, Mickey’s Trick and Treat Stage Show, the Frightfully Fun Parade, the Villains Grove, and more!
Oogie Boogie Bash will run on select days from September 9 until October 30. The party itself will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 11 p.m., however, Guests with Oogie Boogie Bash tickets may enter Disney California Adventure Park as early as 3 p.m. on the date of their party without needing an extra ticket or reservation!
