Disneyland Resort ended its Annual Passport program earlier this year, and former Disneyland Annual Passholders and theme park superfans have had to purchase tickets every time they want to visit the Happiest Place on Earth.

Now, Disney has announced a new ticket offer specifically for locals.

In a new post on the Disney Parks Blog, Disney shared the following:

And, if you’re a California resident, take advantage of a limited-time summer ticket offer that’s reserved for some of our biggest fans – residents of the Golden State! The offer, as low as $83 per person per day for a 3-day ticket, can be used on any three separate days through Sept. 30, 2021!

Currently, a three-day, one-park-per-day ticket costs $310 for an adult. With the California resident ticket offer, a three-day, one-park-per-day ticket costs $249 for an adult. That’s a savings of over $60 per person!

Disney also shared the following details about the new offer:

For a limited time, California residents can visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks for as low as $83 per person, per day with this special ticket offer. These three-day, one-park per day tickets start at $249 and eligible guests may purchase a park hopper option for an additional $55. The limited-time tickets are available for purchase starting July 6, 2021, and California residents may redeem their tickets on any three separate days through September 30, 2021, subject to park reservation availability.* These special tickets may be purchased at Disneyland.com, through a travel agent, or by calling call (866) 572-7321. Valid admission and park reservation for the same park on same date are required for park entry.

Remember that valid theme park admission and a valid theme park reservation are required in order to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. Also, these tickets do not have to be used on consecutive days, so keep that in mind when you make a reservation. You can read all about how the theme park reservation system works in our guide here.

As we reported, Disney officially sunsetted the Disneyland Resort Annual Passport program earlier in 2021, canceling all APs. Now, former Disneyland Passholders are known as Legacy Passholders and can still use their former AP discount on food and merchandise, but there are no perks when it comes to theme park tickets. Since most Disneyland APs were locals to California, this California resident ticket offer should be a great perk for anyone hoping to visit this summer, especially since APs have not yet returned.

Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock has previously stated that a new AP program — which Disney continues to call a “new membership offering” geared toward dedicated superfans — will be introduced before the end of this year.
