Most of those changes were already shown off in the UK’s two-night Staycation cruises, for those who’ve seen some Vlogs on YouTube:
Which also featured a few distanced Marvel appearances among the “socially distanced” character appearances on the balcony (eg. Spiderman meeting folks from the D-lounge stage, like Mary Poppins from the Epcot bandstand), getting ready for the Jan-March ’22 Marvel Days at Sea…

Hopefully, with any luck and the hope of sanity in Florida, they won’t need to use the practice by then.

Nothing like Disney pictures of child abuse.

I’m going on the Disney Dream in Sept. I understand all the safety protocols and sanitizing and I’m all for that however, I still want to get what I am paying for. I don’t like the change in ports and I feel that we shouldn’t have to wear masks or not be allowed to experience the things that are normally offered on the ships. My children love meet and greet and now the full experience is being taken from them. I think things should be allowed to be the way they were and if people don’t like it then they can wait to cruise.

Why are you here complaining instead of canceling your cruise and waiting til a later date? I’m cruising in Dec and am aware that things will be a lil bit different, but I’m okay with that…

I believe she is allowed to voice her opinion just like you. So why do you feel the need to shame her? Just because you are good with it doesn’t mean she has to be!

Agreed!!! People just whineing, as usual, STAY HOME and wait for this to pass! GROW UP! DIsney wants to make their money regardless of the CDC. I would not give $1.00 for these cruises now and if your kids get sick)no vaccines for them. DONT COMPLAIN!!!!

“In addition to COVID-19 testing, mandatory masks, social distancing, and reduced capacity, there will be a change to a popular onboard experience.” That doesn’t sound like fun at all. No thanks. I’ll wait until everything gets back to normal so I get my money’s worth. If it never gets back to normal? Well then, my cruising days are over.

I feel the same way. I can wait until the experience goes back to the magic ways of the past. Until then, we can vote with our wallets.

Joanne, you are the only one with brains on here. There is no reason why you can’t get close to the characters. The main 6 ARE ALL COVERED UP. Disney thinks we are all stupid and will not get my Deniro!

We have been booked for the first cruise out for a few months. We were slammed with changes in the last few days. First time Disney cruisers so nothing to compare. I do feel we are getting ripped by taking a stop away. Also not at all pleased with learning of all the changes from Google. Disney has nor reached out yet.

Will not cruise AT ALL until DIsney is up to par. NO Logical reason to change meet and greets with the 6 main characters. They are all COVERED UP!!!

If she is not good with it, STAY HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Disney just wants your money, dummy!
