Walt Disney’s dream of having a place that everybody can enjoy regardless of their level of income.

This is ridiculous. Very greedy!! Families are already paying over the top prices to go and now they want more money so you & your kids can ride rides. Shame on them!!

Paying for a FastPass is an atrocity in this time or any other. We have been in a pandemic for well over a year now. Bob Chapek wants to charge for everything. This would never happen under Bob Iger’s watch. Chapek wants doesn’t want annual passholders either. He says they don’t spend enough money. I realize I’m going off on a tangent here. So, back to the FastPass. A FastPass should be a complimentary item. It was hard enough to get a decent boarding time for a ride prior to the pandemic. Bob Chapek needs to stop fleecing resort and park guests.

It’s so sad that so many, including myself, will never see the inside of a Disney park ever again.
What happened to this place is like a reflection of our fallen society. Family and morals have replaced with greed and support of sexual immorality. What’s next? A Mary Jane shop on Main Street ?

      1. Ohtar

Might I ask what kind of “support of sexual immorality“ you see in cancelling free fast passes?

Disney has lost its magic. I’m in WDW now; the fist time I’ve been back since the park originally closed in March 2020. Many cast members are visibly miserable; attractions are breaking down left and right; the food options are fewer, more expensive and just not good. No more option of buying a family pizza; and we went to Ohana (previously our favorite restaurant) last night and it was simply AWFUL?.

You can see they are cutting corners all over the place which is going to lose them the repeat out-of-tower customer-especially with the discontinuance of Magical Express ?.

Last but not least: Hey Disney – bring back Stacey!!? This was the first time we checked in and entered our resort room and did NOT feel at home.

People are cedar point made $20 an hour and that park is half of a Disney park. It was great to see actual happy employees.

As long as the parks are staying full you can only expect to see continued increases in pricing. Definitely not the “Dream” Walt had.

    1. Kim

Right if everyone stops going .they will lower prices.it is outrageous

  5. Mark

Absolutley NOT! The Disney money grab continues by raising prices in overcrowded parks never seems to end. This is making me a Disney hater.

If this system is a hit in Paris it won’t be long before we have it here in Orlando. The rich will pay the middle class will go to the beach. If people refuse to use this system (yeah, right) then maybe Disney will finally get it, we the hard workers cannot afford your greed anymore.

If memory serves this is pretty much guaranteed to land in Cali and Orlando. I would hope that these increases mean that the two week ticket doesn’t increase in price every year in October…which is usually what happens.

No way. Disney is getting greedy.

I’m from UK and have visited wdw 6 times with family who have grown up enjoying Disney. Considering the cost to visit and stay on Disney thus is final bail in coffin for me and I won’t be going again unless the greed changes. Shame on you Disney.

I pay for Express Pass at Universal Studios so am willing to pay for Fast Pass at Disney as long as the systems work the same. Since this trial is at Disneyland Paris hoping if it comes to FL there’s an option for an all day Fast Pass.

  9. What has me totally confused is most people have known about all the things that Disney has cut such as the magical express, shows, parades, character meet and greets and raised ticket prices on food, parking at resorts and on top of that no fast fasses which has created long lines for almost all rides add to that the reduced hours at the parks. We went in February as we had 1 week left on our annual pass to use before expiring what a mistake and of course we did not renew and will not be going back and I understand its a personal issue whether to go or not and i can respect that but this not the Disney magic I have been accustomed to so instead we will travel to parks closer to home in Maryland such as Hershey and Busch Gardens Williamsburg and save the money on airfare and rental cars. Please by all means go and experience for your self and I am sure you will agree that what I’m saying is the truth and not some crazy person on a rant.

Greed, bad look Disney. About to greed themselves into the most hated company. Walt Disney would be ashamed at how Disney is ran now.
