As the Disneyland Resort continues its phased reopening, more and more offerings are becoming available again. And, for anyone coming from out-of-state or for those planning a staycation at the Happiest Place on Earth, another hotel at the Disneyland Resort — Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel — reopens on June 15. But you will notice some big changes if you are staying here soon!
Here’s what you need to know before your upcoming trip to Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel.
The Hotel Reopens on June 15, But You Can Book Now
That’s right — June 15 is the official reopening date for Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. By then, the hotel will have been closed for over a full year. And the best part is you can actually book a trip right now for stays starting June 15 or later!
Currently, Guests can book a Standard View room starting at $435 per night or a Premium View room starting at $529 per night. Suites and Club Level rooms will not be reopening on June 15, but we will update our website with more information as it becomes available.
No Dining Will Be Available
Yes, it’s true. When Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel reopens, it will not offer any dining options within the hotel.
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is home to a few dining locations:
- Disney’s PCH Grill, which offers character dining
- Surfside Lounge, a lounge offering casual dining adjacent to the hotel lobby
- The Sand Bar, a rooftop eatery near the pool
But, as noted, when the hotel reopens on June 15, none of the dining options will be open. So, if you are planning on staying here, you can dine at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa (which reopened on April 29 — read more here) or the Downtown Disney District, as well as inside Disneyland or Disney California Adventure if you have a valid theme park ticket and reservation. Select restaurants at the Downtown Disney District will also provide delivery to the hotel lobby.
Disney has not yet shared when the restaurants will reopen at Paradise Pier, but we expect to find out more at a later date.
Enhanced Health and Safety Measures Are in Place
When you stay at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel after it reopens this month, you will notice a variety of new health and safety measures in place for the protection of Cast Members and Guests.
You can check into the hotel conveniently online within five days of your arrival, and you will receive a text message straight to your phone when your room is ready on the day of your check-in. Hotel rooms, as well as common areas, are thoroughly cleaned, and while certain amenities are suspended, others are available for you to safely enjoy.
For more information on the enhanced health and safety measures implemented at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort, visit the official website.
