Today, Disney announced that another hotel at the Disneyland Resort — Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel — will be reopening next month. But this exciting announcement prompted another virtual queue on the Disneyland website.

As soon as Disney announced that the Paradise Pier Hotel would be reopening on June 15, eager Guests took to the Disneyland website to snag their reservations. Note that because reservations for Paradise Pier opened today and not on the same day as Disneyland theme park ticket sales (when, simultaneously, reservations for the Grand Californian Hotel opened), the virtual queue was not long at all. Today, we waited 10 minutes to get through.

Disney’s Paradise Pier hotel is often hundreds of dollars cheaper than Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa (the most luxurious of the Disneyland hotels that offers deluxe-level service and amenities). So, it makes sense that Guests wanting to stay on Disneyland Resort property will want to book a night (or more!) at Disney’s Pa

For one room (for two adults) on reopening night of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, the prices are as follows:

  • $435 for a Standard View (Views of Disneyland Drive or parking area)
  • $529 for a Premium View (Views of the theme park)
  • $959 for a 1-bedroom suite (Views of the theme park, Disneyland Drive, or parking area)

You can see the same prices listed for opening weekend just a few days later:

  • $435 for a Standard View (Views of Disneyland Drive or parking area)
  • $529 for a Premium View (Views of the theme park)
  • $959 for a 1-bedroom suite (Views of the theme park, Disneyland Drive, or parking area)

Note that Club Level service is not available at this time. It is expected that Club Level rooms and amenities will return at a later date.

Disney did remind Guests that not everything will be available at first when Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel reopens:

When Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel initially reopens, some experiences may be modified or unavailable, and health and safety guidelines will be in place. When visiting the parks, a park ticket and theme park reservation is required for entry. Until further notice, only California residents may visit the parks, and in groups no larger than 3 households, per current State of California guidelines. Proof of residency may be required.

This is similar to how dining was initially unavailable at the Grand Californian when it reopened to Guests — However today Disney did announce that dining, as well as other amenities, are returning to the Hotel! With that being said we anticipate things will also return to Paradise Pier in the near future as well. Stay tuned to Inside the Magic for the latest information.
