Today is a big day for Disney World and Disneyland as mask mandates have finally come to an end coast to coast for fully vaccinated Guests and the Florida and California parks continue to go “back to normal.”
Over at Disneyland, this change happened much sooner, considering they have been open for a month and a half, and Disney World has been open for much longer. At Disneyland, today also marks that day that Guests from out of state can finally return to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Until June 15, Guests who entered Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure had to be California residents. Now that all Guests can attend the theme park and California is once again “open,” tourism is likely to pick up once again. It seems that Disneyland is ready to bring in Guests as they are offering fantastic deals on their hotels.
Both Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disneyland Hotel are undergoing discounts of up to 25% at the moment for Guests booking by September 16 and traveling through to October 3, 2021. The discounts begin on July 5, which is perfect timing for a summer vacation at Disneyland since the Disneyland Hotel reopens on July 2 (the Grand Californian has been open since April 29).
According to the Disneyland website:
- Save 25% on select rooms at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
- Save 20% on select rooms at Disneyland Hotel.
Interested in creating a vacation package? Consider adding theme park tickets to this room offer. Staying at one of these Disneyland Resort hotels makes it easy and convenient for your family to experience exciting things to see and do at both parks. Plus, you’ll be immersed in Disney throughout your stay, where you’ll enjoy an array of amenities, world-class service and distinctive Disney touches.
Please note: Guests who choose to purchase theme park tickets must also make theme park reservations for the same date and same park for park entry. Park reservations are limited and subject to availability, and a hotel reservation does not guarantee park access. Visit Disneyland.com/updates for important information about park attendance requirements.
To take a look at the prices, we went to see how much each hotel would cost on July 5. As you can see, both hotels have a Special Room Offer applied to the cost. Disneyland Hotel is the cheaper option at $476.00 per night, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is $584.25 per night.
