What are the food and beverage options at the Disneyland Hotel?

We absolutely love dining at the Disneyland Hotel, whether or not we are actually staying there! There is plenty to feast on at the hotel and there is no shortage of options for the whole family.

The Coffee House

This is your go-to spot to get caffeinated before heading to the parks!

Stop by to refuel with freshly brewed espressos, lattes, coffee specialties and assorted beverages. Fresh fruit, cereals, parfaits and palate-pleasing pastries—including croissants, cookies, muffins and more—are also available.

Goofy’s Kitchen

Offering character dining and all-you-care-to-enjoy meals, Goofy’s Kitchen is a classic Disney restaurant bringing fun for the whole family.

Gawrsh! Enjoy a fun-filled breakfast or dinner with some beloved Disney friends at the Disneyland Hotel.

Tangaroa Terrace – Casual Island Dining

We absolutely love the tropical-inspired cuisine from Tangaroa Terrace. The outdoor dining offers views of the hotel grounds, or you can take your food to-go and bring it up to your hotel room or down to your lounge chair at the pool. This location also serves great coffee and the always iconic Dole Whip!

Inspired by the Enchanted Tiki Room, this tranquil oasis offers travelers a spacious wraparound terrace surrounded by swaying palms. Dine alfresco under tribal-print lanterns while taking in views of the pools at the Disneyland Hotel. Or find a seat inside amidst island-inspired décor. Guests of the Disneyland Hotel can even enjoy meals poolside. On select evenings as the sun goes down, unwind to the soothing sounds of live music.

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar

Trader Sam\'s

A Disney classic, the original Trader Sam’s is located right here at the Disneyland Hotel. What hijinks will ensue here when you order a festive beverage in this iconic tiki bar?

Welcome, brave adventurers, to the wondrous watering hole of Trader Sam, head salesman of the Amazon. Sam is an expert at concocting head-shrinking potions and his travels far and wide allowed him to amass intoxicating ambrosial ingredients for his bubbly brews. Skip on over and try them for yourself—if you dare!

All around you are mementos of Sam’s exploits and trademark humor. You may very well laugh your head off!

Watch in wonder as the walls start to shake with volcanic eruptions all around you as you sip exotic elixirs of untold potency. You may not be able to shake the feeling that the tiki gods are watching you…

Steakhouse 55 and Steakhouse 55 Lounge

This signature dining location is not one to miss. If you are looking for old Hollywood elegance, impeccable food, and that Disney service, look no further than Steakhouse 55. There is a lounge for those wanting a bit more of a casual setting, and this location even offers afternoon tea!

For classic steakhouse fare or a delicious breakfast in an upscale setting, visit this Disneyland Hotel restaurant.

Named for the year that Disneyland Park opened, Steakhouse 55 takes you back to a bygone era of decadence, when attentive service and lavish steaks were the order of the day—every day.

Dine in a dimly lit, well-appointed space replete with dark-wood furnishings, black-and-white photos of movie and music luminaries of the era, including Walt Disney, and an impressive wine cellar. The private Oak Room can be reserved for parties of up to 24 Guests.

Dining with Distinction
Steakhouse 55 was awarded four stars by the Orange County Register and a Golden Bacchus by the Southern California Restaurant Writers Association. Zagat describes the restaurant as “amazing,” “a gem,” “elegant” and “the best rib eye in town.”

Transportation options

When it comes to transportation, you will mainly want to focus on how you are getting to and from your hotel and your home. Are you flying to Southern California and need to figure out airport transportation? Or are you planning to drive? If you drive to the hotel, you will be allowed to park your vehicle onsite in a designated Disneyland Hotel parking lot for an extra fee per night.

What is the nearest airport to the Disneyland Hotel?

The nearest airport to the Disneyland Hotel is John Wayne Airport (SNA) of Orange County, located in Santa Ana, less than 15 miles away. The airport is relatively small but is a popular choice for anyone traveling to the Disneyland Resort from within the U.S. or even Northern California.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is of course a very popular choice as it offers many direct flights to and from Los Angeles. This airport is less than 35 miles from Disneyland Resort, so it will be a longer drive to and from LAX and the Disneyland Hotel. However, if you can get a good deal on a flight or your only option to fly direct is LAX, then it could be the better choice.

At this time, Disneyland Resort does not offer a shuttle service to and from nearby airports and the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort. If you are flying to Southern California, we recommend using a ride share service or renting a car.

How do you get to Disneyland from the Disneyland Hotel?
