Become an Avenger!
For those who are unaware, Disneyland Resort is home to Avengers Campus located inside Disney California Adventure. One of the most interactive events happening inside Avengers Campus is the new live-action show Avengers Assemble where Guests can watch a full-on stunt show featuring the Avengers and some of Marvel’s most evil protagonists.
Currently, Disney is searching for high-intensity stunt performers specifically for the roles of Black Panther and Black Widow! Skills must include acrobatic skills, tumbling, stunt baton-wielding, and repelling. Full requirements can be found online and submissions must be received before July 2, 2021.
Floater Pianist for Disney Cruise Line
Disney is encouraging all performers from all cultural backgrounds who excel in playing the piano to audition for the Disney Cruise Line! This is a two-step process that includes submitting your profile resume and checking in to the audition, including a two to three-minute demo video. The website states,
Floater Pianist: A lively piano player that carries a large repertoire of music that spans several musical genres, including classical pieces to popular hits from yesterday to today. Strong familiarization with Disney songs is a must. This highly skilled performer must have showmanship expertise to perform in a variety of venues (indoor and/or outdoor), engaging with Guests from afar, taking requests, and creating a fun atmosphere that encourages Guests to return while adhering to performance safety guidelines. Performer must be comfortable playing a pre-set playlist alongside other live musicians. Performer may also be asked to participate in other activities such as weddings, a live musical trivia that requires microphone and communication skills, and/or other unique gatherings. Ability to read music is required. Cruise ship and/or Disney Parks experience a plus. Performer should be prepared to perform up to a maximum of 4 hours per day, 7 days per week for entire length of contract.
Disney Cruise Line Entertainment is also currently accepting video auditions for a Jazz Trio for Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. This trio needs to feature a vocalist, bass player, and piano player and must be able to embody the New Orleans atmosphere. The deadline for submitting is Sunday, June 27, 2021.
