The Walt Disney World Resort is home to many uniquely themed dining experiences. One of my personal favorites is the AbracadaBar at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
Tucked inside of this magic-themed bar and lounge you will find Disney World’s most unique Cast Member — AbracaLadder.

The AbracadaBar is a more recent addition to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. If you haven’t had a chance to visit and enjoy one of their tasty cocktails in a whimsical setting, here is how Disney describes the experience:
Travel back in time to the golden age of magic as you step inside this curious cocktail lounge.
Formerly the stomping grounds for famous magicians, local illusionists and the loveliest of magician’s assistants, AbracadaBar gives interested onlookers and aficionados of alcoholic beverages alike a glimpse—and perhaps a taste—of another time and place.
According to boardwalk lore, prestidigitators would gather here after nearly every show, often staying up all night as they attempted to out-charm each other with extraordinary tricks before gathering at the bar to conjure up new cocktails.
But then, just as soon as it had appeared, the secret lounge vanished into thin air, never to be seen again… until today!
On a recent visit to the AbracadaBar, I noticed one unique Cast Member, the AbracaLadder. Situated behind the bar, and sporting a Walt Disney World official name tag, the AbracaLadder has the important job of helping the bartenders reach the top-shelf alcohol bottles needed to make some of the more impressive cocktails offered at the AbracadaBar.
We watched our bartender hilariously interact with the AbracaLadder as if it were truly another Cast Member and not an inanimate object. It truly transformed our visit to the AbracadaBar into a magic show!
The AbracaLadder is not the only magic trick the AbracadaBar has up its sleeve! You have to see this color-changing drink with your own eyes to believe in the magic and mystery of this playful bar and lounge.
