I spent a week at the Polynesian just a few weeks ago in one of the bungalows. We had no water issues there. My only complaint about the entire trip was the poor transportation to and from the Polynesian resort. My son and I waited for over an hour for a bus from from Animal Kingdom back to the resort. We might well still be waiting if a driver who saw us waiting the three times she came and left the transportation area had not taken pity on us and went off route to take us.

I live about an hour away from the theme parks and started staying at the Polynesian with my parents in 1976.
My grandfather also finished building his house with a well. When the water looked like this in his home, we had to have a new well dug and new plumbing throughout the house. It was a combination of human excrement and rust!
To anyone staying at the resort: Take a water sample and Get Out!

That seems like an odd response for the water issue. Disney has always been great with how they’ve handled the few issues we’ve had during our stays.

Disney pre-Chepak was great; post Chepak it just sucks. He doesn’t give a crap that you spend $700/night for a room that is no better than a Motel 6 (no disrespect meant toward the Motel 6, which actually provides a good value for the price).

Don’t call customer service, call one of Disney’s board of directors and hopefully they will fire Chepak after enough calls.

  4. We stayed here in May 1987 and it was great!

  5. I’ve never stayed at the resort, but know me and my husband we would’ve insisted on getting another room at a different resort, people are paying way too much money for that kind of answer.
