Disneyland has made some major changes to its park ticket and reservation process recently. Guests can now book both tickets and reservations in one step, instead of the original two-step process. The two-step process was unpopular with Guests who could end up waiting in two virtual queues in order to book their tickets and reservations.

Well, now Disneyland Resort is making another big change and expanding the window in which Guests can make reservations to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park.

Originally, Guests visiting Disneyland could make their theme park reservations 60 days in advance of their trip. Disneyland Resort has now doubled that window and Guests can make reservations up to 12o days in advance! Guests now have a reservation window that runs through late September.

Disney Parks Blog shared the exciting announcement:

We’re also excited to share an additional update on the theme park reservation system. Beginning today, the booking window for theme park reservations has expanded out to 120 days, allowing guests even more time to plan their return to the resort! Check the theme park reservation calendar for availability.

Disneyland Resort also announced that beginning on June 15, it would begin allowing out-of-state Guests. Currently, only Guests who reside in the state of California can visit the theme park, but with the reservation window being expanded, out-of-state Guests can now at least purchase their theme park tickets and make reservations.

Disneyland reminds Guests — both in-state and out-of-state — that there will be certain health and safety procedures that are still in place at the theme parks. All Guests must wear face coverings at all times, except when actively eating or drinking. Social distancing will also continue to be enforced. While proof of vaccination will not be required at this time, Disney also encourages all Guests to receive their COVID-19 vaccination, or a negative COVID test result, before visiting the theme parks.
