Disneyland will be officially reopening on April 30. For Guests who would like to spend the night at the Disneyland Resort before the park opens, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be reopening on April 29.

There are still rooms available to Guests on Disneyland’s opening weekend, but you will have to cough up some serious dough. The only rooms currently available to book for the opening weekend of Disneyland are Premium View rooms, which will cost you $821 per night.

Guests who book a Premium View room at the Grand Californian will be given a guaranteed view of either one of the hotel pools or a view of Disney’s California Adventure Park. The room can sleep up to five Guests.

Every standard Guest room comes with a variety of amenities including large smart televisions, an in-room safe, high-speed internet, evening turn-down service, and a balcony.
For Disneyland’s opening weekend, all other room types available at the Grand Californian are currently sold out.

Guests staying at the Grand Californian will also be given exclusive access to the hotel’s restaurants. Typically, the restaurants in the hotel are open to all Guests visiting Disneyland. However, Disneyland Resort is currently modifying its policies and procedures to keep Guests safe due to the ongoing pandemic.

It should be noted that not all of the hotel’s restaurants will be open when the hotel reopens. The restaurants that will be open on April 29 at the Grand Californian are:
- Hearthstone Lounge
- GCH Craftsman Bar
- GCH Craftsman Grill
Guests staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will also need a park ticket and park reservations to get into either (or both) Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. It is important to note that a hotel reservation does not guarantee entry into the theme parks.

The Grand Californian is also taking extra steps in cleaning their hotel and rooms in order to keep Guests as safe as possible. Some cleaning steps include:
- Thorough cleaning of high touch areas
- Double-cased pillows
- Individually wrapped glassware and television remotes
- Room cleaning every other day

Guests will also have to follow certain health and safety guidelines while not only in the hotel but also throughout the Disneyland Resort. Some of these policies include masks for every Guest over the age of two, mandatory temperature checks, and social distancing.
