Fans have been eagerly awaiting news of the opening day of Cirque du Soleil’s newest show at Disney Springs! We are getting close to an answer — now, we know the season in which the show will debut!

Disney and Cirque du Soleil have created a brand-new show, “Drawn to Life”, for the theater at Disney Springs. The previous success of “La Nouba”, which ran in the very same theater for 19 years, helped propel Disney to create something new and exciting.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Cirque Chief Executive Daniel Lamarre shared that the Cirque team hopes to debut the new Disney show later this year — specifically, “sometime in the fall”:
Cirque is also working on setting a new opening date for “Drawn to Life,” its collaboration with Disney that was set to open in Orlando, Fla., last year. “It’s a tribute to Disney animation, and we felt honored to have the opportunity to do a show with the IP [intellectual property] of Disney,” Lamarre said. “We should be able to open sometime in the fall.”

We cannot wait to see “Drawn to Life”! Once we get a specific opening date, we will update our website with more information.
