Are you all that selfish and dense that you are going to WDW ! There is absolutely no reason or need that going to WDW is a priority ! Good job a putting your family and others at risk!!! When are so people going to get it .. STAY PUT !!!
Trip planned Sept 26-Oct 4 to celebrate hubby’s and MK 50th birthday and son’s tech school graduation. Can’t wait for my 10th trip to the most magical place on earth.
My family was at WDW last week. Hollywood studios wasn’t bad & Animal Kingdom was very sparsely attended. We were able to ride Smugglers run twice with a wait no longer than 30 minutes and Flight of Passage twice with waits no longer than 40. Magic Kingdom was much more crowded with regular waits over 60 minutes for the coasters(except space mountain) and LOTS of congestion in Frontierland and Adventureland. Epcot was lightly populated overall with a 40 minute wait at Soarin and Frozen ever after.
All in all-fantastic week, great weather and super low crowds compared to what we would have expected if not for the pandemic.
Risking their lives?
The Common Cold is a coronavirus….which causes the same respiratory issues as what is currently going on and affects people the same way as covid19.
A similar amount of people die every year of Common Colds/Rhinoviruses which is nothing more than what covid19 is.
Get over yourself.
Disney and the whole mask issue is just pandering to people who seem to think Fauci is a “god”.
M that’s just a lie tho. I’m not buying the hype nor do I care for Fauci but it is 100% not true to even pretend NEARLY as many people die from the damn common cold. Like 6,000 people over a few years die from the common cold, 400k to COVID. I cant stand the exaggerations made in either direction.
400k havent died from covid. If you test positive at any point before or after death, you are counted as a covid death. We have no idea how many have died, but its far far less than that amount.
I’m going next week. Increased crowds concern me because of long lines. But on the other hand, I went last August and it’s just weird being in Disney without a lot of people.
Goodness! 35%?!? We were just there this past weekend, 2/27 & 2/28. All I have to say is “yeah right” to that 35%. We were there in early September and noticed how odd it was with no strollers in sight. This past weekend the strollers were back in force. We waited 45 minutes to do Runaway Railroad, 90 minutes for TOT. Over an hour late Saturday evening for a jungle Cruise (park was open until 10pm). Crowds were seemingly huge.
Been there, done that, it wasn’t overly crowded. Your “yeah right” is based upon the fact that you have no idea what full (100%) capacity actually looks like.
Also, without having Fast Pass and using exterior space as queues it makes any population/capacity level appear much more crowded.
We went to each of 4 WDW parks the week of Presidents Day. They were busy but no more than 60-80 min on popular rides. Universal Studios Florida was horrible. Way too many people and wait times 120-140 min for some rides.
Disney needs to bring back the “Fast Pass” so that guests can plan their WDW vacation. Currently, guests cannot do any planning and go to WDW to stand in lines.
WDW made an announcement about their decision to increase capacity from 35% to 50%.
It was noted that they could have raised it further (up to 100%) but chose not to.
Without Fast Pass and using the outdoor lines/queues it would be a mess.
How go you COMPLAIN ‘bout WDW. You are alive in the great USA, in the 21st century, in Fla. during the winter….I’m an Orlando Street Clown doing face painting and dancing!
We went to WDW Magic Kingdom on March 1, 2021. Extremely understaffed, only maybe 30 cast workers and 10 street dancers for the entire park. Most employees didn’t come back, unemployment pays better. Many new employees haven’t been trained properly, many are a bit rude. Park was operating at about 40% capacity. Ticket was discounted to $137 for non-residents. The experience was not impressive, it’s off the bucket list.
Everyone talks about the parks limiting capacity. Truth is they are rarely 100%. Most of the summer they are at the same capacity as currently found. 36%-40%.
We were at Disney on February 26 and 27th… won’t be going back anytime soon…there was no where to sit and eat… staff was rude. No trams from the parking lot for people with medical issues. You need to do better Disney especially at the outrageous prices you charge.
I was there at the same time and did not find that to be true. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We found little spots to be tucked away and have a snack and nobody bothered us about our masks unless we were walking and trying to eat.

I LOVE DisneyW! My issuse is raising the prices on “peak” days when half of the park is closed! One of the most frustrating things was lack of places to eat and opened places had limited menus.Over all I had pretty good 60th bd begining of Feb.
The crowds right now(March 1st) seem to be over the “35%” imposed capacity. Additionally, some cast are having difficulties in keeping up and appear to be on edge. Some places/people for example like Oga’s canteen are extremely short and refuse to accommodate taking a you get what you get attitude. All that being said it is still not a bad time to go as a lot of attractions can be attended through the day.
I was at Hollywood Studios on the 1st of March. You can ride every ride with time to spare. As long as you get Rise of Resistance que, start with ToT, then Aerosmith. Once those are done check your apps for times and plan accordingly. Get there “pre rope drop time” as rides start early. Have fun
Just got back yesterday from our week long trip. As crowded as it looks, it only took us 20 minutes to get out of the park each day! In fact we got on the 1st ferry boat each night we were in magic kingdom. Now that never happens!! It’s because all of the line queues are outside. By the time you get the line inside the building you are going very quickly onto the ride.

I’ll be there for the first time on the 14th. We are DL AP’s for many years, so excited to finally see DW.
L
We’re DL APs too, and flying to WDW for the first time next month. So excited, even with an increase these crowds are so much smaller!

No regrets
How about YOU stay put Mo. We all want to continue living our lives instead of being afraid of a virus there’s a vaccine for!

Lots of stupid people risking their lives for a half-assed theme park experience….the wet dream of every theme park owner.

Heading to WDW the week after Easter Sunday. We are concerned that it will be crowded. 1h wait times are pretty bad, and no fast pass option.

I’ll be there the same time as you apeil 9th-13th

Disney needs to sell new annual passes for the new Florida residents to keep up the flow on their off days.

Not going back until there are no masks required outside. I am not subjecting my family or me to such foolishness
