One of the most popular spots on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort is the Main Street Confectionery.
Guests love stopping into the Main Street Confectionery and grabbing some sweet treats such as Mickey krispie treats, candy apples, chocolate-covered pineapple skewers, cake pops, taffy, and more!
In case you aren’t familiar, the Main Street Confectionery is described on the Walt Disney World website as:
Follow your nose inside this old-fashioned candy shop, where delightful treats including character-inspired candy apples and Mickey krispie treats are made.

Well, unfortunately, it looks like Guests will have to find these sweet treats elsewhere for the next few months as the Main Street Confectionery looks to be closing for a lengthy refurbishment.
As you can see in the screenshot below, the Disney World website shows no times available for Main Street Confectionery beginning on March 29, 2021.

Inside the Magic went all the way through May 9, 2021 and still no times were listed, which you can see in the screenshot below.

We do want to note that at this time, the Walt Disney World website will not let you view days past May 9, 2021 (see screenshot below), meaning that this refurbishment could last longer. Inside the Magic will continue to update you as we get information.

Additionally, there currently isn’t a message announcing this closure on the official website that explains that the Main Street Confectionery is closing for refurbishment, so be sure to check the official webpage here before your visit.
Walt Disney World refurbishments are always subject to change so Inside the Magic will keep you updated as we get information regarding the Main Street Confectionery.
