could fantasyland face an expansion

I’m not a purist I definitely support upgrading attractions. But I want them to leave Fantasyland alone!

Fantasyland is near perfect. It is the heart and soul of the park. Daring Journey and Mr Toad are two of the greatest dark rides ever made. I do not say that lightly. I hope they keep the danger and humor intact. The Alice update definitely enhanced the ride while remaining traditional at its core. I hope these updates do the same as opposed to changing it for the worse. No one is complaining that Mr Toad ends up in Hell.

Walt’s vision was genius. This is a perfect example of when pearls are cast before swine. Don’t change the classic experience in the name of PC insanity.

I honestly am in the camp of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. But at the same time, I’m not opposed to the “plussing” of attractions. New magic keeps things fresh. For some rides like Pinocchio and Mr. Toad, a sprinkle of new magic now and again would definitely keep things fresh. But for attractions like Snow White, it needed something just a bit more. I quite like the changes being made to the ride, as it’s update adds that wonderful ending scene.

Disneyland has an UNUSED part of Fantasyland that could house a new attraction. It’s located across from Its a Small World and is hardly used at all. I think it’s called the Snow White Stage(?). I say build a new ride there b

I am sick at heart to think that Fantasyland might be “politically corrected”. Kids are only scared if someone tells them they should be. I say leave Walt’s home alone!!
