Going to the theme parks during the pandemic has been a saving grace for many. Places like Universal Studios Orlando have created a safe space where Guests can both enjoy the thrills and immersion, without being careless.

Having mask wear and social distancing strictly enforced has allowed many Guests the opportunity to leave their house and participate in a fun activity, even during these uncertain times.

Now, it seems Universal Orlando Resort is taking things one step further in terms of protecting their Guests against COVID-19 by helping them plan their vaccinations. Universal (@UniversalORL) recently Tweeted:

Make a plan so you’ll be ready when it’s your turn. Our personalized, state-by-state guide will help you navigate when and where you are able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Visit http://PlanYourVaccine.com to make your plan. #PlanYourVaccine

Guests can easily go on the website and choose their state, occupation, and age range — and will easily be told whether or not they qualify for the vaccination yet. This is a fantastic tool for Americans and is allowing a process that may seem daunting and complicated to be reduced to something very simple.

As we mentioned, Universal Orlando Resort currently has a strict face mask policy on property to protect Guests from the coronavirus. Any Guest who enters CityWalk, Universal Studios, or Universal’s Islands of Adventure must wear an approved face covering or mask, or else they will be escorted off property.

The only time masks are allowed to be removed is when actively eating or drinking, or, when in one of their hotel pools, or while splashing around at Volcano Bay.

We have previously reported that Universal Team Members will stop an attraction and remove Guests if they do not comply with the mask wear rules, which state that Guests must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth.

With all of this, it is clear that Universal theme parks (and by extension NBCUniversal) are definitely looking out for their Guests’ best interest when it comes to safety!
