The Last Jedi is hardly widely regarded as the worst Star Wars film. A vocal minority of toxic idiots hate the last jedi. Whereas the actual fandom is pretty united in thinking, correctly, The phantom menace and attack of the clones are neck and neck as the worst Star Wars films by far.
I have enough confidence in my opinion that I don’t feel the need to insult anyone who disagrees, but I think THE LAST JEDI turned it’s back on everything that made STAR WARS great. Now, ego-driven directors feel the need to leave their mark on beloved franchises by subverting expectations to the regret of loyal fans. I used to be excited to see what would come next, but not any more. Let STAR WARS die…
