I can get behind Disney’s warnings at the beginning of their shows about inappropriate content. What baffles me is why why Disney removed virtually all of the first season of Andi Mack because of the bad behavior of one cast member Stony westmoreland. This removes the entire origin story of Andi Mack. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was along with the preteens that I child support. They were absolutely enraged. And what is even worse is that I cannot find a single source where I can even purchase a complete season one. Shame on Disney for this!

This is completely ridiculous. While I do agree the times have changed and certain things can be viewed as outdated, at the end of the day, animation is art and art can be interpreted in a number of ways. Some people can look at a Vincent van Gogh painting and be completely inspired by what they see while others can look at that same painting and have no emotional connection to it whatsoever. That being said, I think that the management team at Disney removing such classics as Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp, and The Aristocats from children’s profiles is another example of how the upper management is too quick to acquiesce to every little complaint from the politically correct crowd. As an African American, I have watched Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp, and the Aristocats a number of times as a child and was never offended once by them and neither were my parents. While I’m pleased to hear that these classics are still available on the older accounts, I think they are doing this generation of children a huge disservice by not allowing them to view them on their own. The bottom line is, leave the classics alone. If you don’t like them, don’t watch them but don’t ruin it for everyone else.

And ironically, some of the example shots are from “Return to Neverland” and “Lady & the Tramp II: Scamp’s Adventure”, which kids CAN watch on the service, lucky them.

I think this is ridiculous! It is our responsibility, as parents, to co trolled what our children watch, not Disney, not anyone else! These movies are TRULY CLASSICS! I am so OVER people getting butt hurt or trying to say a scene from ANY movie is racist or not appropriate! It is all a matter or opinion and the way you choose to look at ANYTHING! Kindness and love are what matter, not whether or not BLACK BIRDS OR WHITE BIRDS OR PURPLE BIRDS are singing a song!

  4. All of these movies have been on Tape. CD, Blue ray and now 4k for decades. If those families didn’t have a Problem at that ;point why get all Twitter verse Cancel Culture Crazy” now? Let Kids be Kids and stop over thinking it.
