I don’t blame her at all. People can be mean. Truth be told, I don’t follow any movie or TV stars on social media. Most people I follow on Twitter are people that I subscribe to on YouTube and topics that interest me.
I do follow people on social media, you bet I do. Twitter, and especially Instagram. Those people are on social media because they want to be. Either they enjoy it, are fascinated by the behavior out there, or have a message or product. It’s a jungle, and it look like Daisy made the right choice for her. She will survive just fine without social media.
Let’s make one thing clear for the records. This has nothing to do with the fact Daisy had played a character that is unlikable. We don’t like Daisy Ridley as a person because you can’t have an intelligent conversation with her nor can she handle be critiqued. Because when enough fans did and said her character was to powerful and overdeveloped, she insulted them by calling them sexist.
Let me sum this up to you Daisy darling, “it’s called the ugly truth. You can’t take it, don’t bother calling.”
But if Daisy ever has the “all conquering whamen” courage that Woke Disney loves to ram down our throats all day to come back to social media I got idea for her and Kathleen Kennedy. In your next film, how about Rey, Jinn, Blaxk Widow, Moana, and Elasticgirl team up together and take down the next evil galactic emperor President Joseph Biden without breaking a sweat? Because I hear he likes em tough and cheap. What do you think of that?
Wow. Sorry I read previous comments before submitting my own…Anyhoo, who cares about who’s on social media or not? I only comment on these pages because I read Disney updates regularly. Social media’s a cluster flop with nasty folks galore. I see in general terms why she found it toxic…But I found it weird that it’s psychologically damaging to actors or actresses that people don’t like their characters or story line. We all know the job involves pretending right? And fandom is subjective and fickle. If we wanted to be everyone’s favorite hero we’d all have to become firemen
