One of the best things about being a Disney fan is the variety of communities Guests can join! From online social media platforms dedicated to the mouse to Annual Passholders at Disney Parks — there are so many places where Disney lovers can truly feel like they fit in.
Another coveted group that all Disney Guests want to be apart of (if they’re not already), is Disney Vacation Club (DVC). Now, it seems that a celebration is in order for DVC Guests.
Disney Vacation was founded in 1991, which is now 30 years ago and for this special milestone, it seems that Disney has decided to do a streaming event to commemorate the special occasion. DVC has this photo (below) displayed on its site with the announcement that “We Go On” — the 30th-anniversary musical event — will be available for DVC Members beginning today, January 28.

Although very little information on this streaming even has been released, including what time it is set to begin, we expect this event to be like no other! Interestingly enough, Disney seems to have done very little to promote the musical event as well, but Inside the Magic will continue to update you as we get information regarding the event. You can see the promo when logged into your DVC page.
Disney does have a few tips for all of its DVC Members who want to watch the “We Go On” musical event today:
- Watch On TV: If your computer or mobile device allows for mirroring to a smart TV or streaming device, now is the perfect time to connect.
- Plug-In: Don’t run out of battery and try a hard-wired connection, if your WiFi connection is inconsistent.
- Make Room on the Couch: As a courtesy, please move to the end of your sofa to make room for others and keep your hands inside during the program (We had to say that!)
With Disney’s cheeky reference to a pre-ride announcement, it seems that they are trying to make this event similar to an attraction for DVC Members. When you click on the stream link, you will see the above photo on your screen, but shortly after it will change to the below screen.
It will be interesting to see how Disney creates a musical event for DVC members via stream, considering in-person events at Disney World have not been occurring due to the pandemic. With a name like “We Go On”, however, it seems that this event will likely be nostalgic for EPCOT’s past nighttime spectacular, Illuminations.
According to the Disney website:
Join host Ryan March (Disney Files Magazine) for “We Go On,” a streaming musical event produced especially for Disney Vacation Club Members. This celebration of Membership Magic at home features uplifting entertainment, with inspirational performances by stage and screen star Keala Settle (known for her breakout role in “The Greatest Showman”) and the EPCOT fan-favorite a cappella group, the Voices of Liberty. You might just spot some other familiar faces with special talents to share! Members should check their email for a video link to view the full-length musical production.
DVC members have also just received an update via email to remind them about the musical event for Members today! Members can click the “Watch Now” button in their email once received, or scroll to the bottom of this article for the link.
