Orlando Internation Airport (MCO) will be offering rapid coronavirus testing for passengers wishing to get tested before they fly.

No official opening date but the press release does say “later in December, operations are scheduled to continue through the end of July 2021.”
This is a partnership with AdventHealth, a name you might recognize as they are the health group that partnered with Disney to provide temperature screenings for Guests entering the parks and Disney Springs. This is great news because from working with Disney AdventHealth has already shown they are efficient and do well with crowd control.
This is a great announcement for those wishing to travel safely and ensure they are not ill with coronavirus before they take a flight that may be crowded.

The news of this new rapid coronavirus testing center comes as travel through the Orlando Airport has picked up since the reopening of Disney World. With the safety regulations in place at Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, and the air carriers themselves it appears that Guests feel comfortable returning to the skies to visit Orlando.
There is still no word on the cost of the rapid test and if insurance will be accepted at this rapid testing location.
