The ONLY big secret left to be discovered by Indy is Noah’s Ark and the flood. Why can’t they make a plot around that?

Oooh, I love y’alls ideas. I suggest keeping Indy’s son played by Shia LaBeouf and introduce his daughter (of color) the newest Indy! Keep all the original actors – sadly have to CGI Sean Connery ? Is Karen Allen still with us?

Yes, awesome ideas! Do you feel that Shia’s Henry “Mutt” Williams should be gay or trans now too?!

Disney will destroy it. If they could focus on a great story and dialogue and put priority of that over cheap CGI, I’d be all in. I have a bad feeling about this.

Literally nobody asked for IJ5. Its a nostalgia cash grab and nothing else. Guaranteed bigger bomb than IJ4.

I always thought the best way to resolve it and move it forward for future installments was to basically make it into Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth. I don’t think a whole lot of people were sold on the entire Mutt Williams character, so if he’s brought back at all, they need to make him a lot more likable, and perhaps have him shaped a lot more into Indy’s image by further experiences together. But a better possibility might actually be to save them from that issue altogether by simply having Indy find the Fountain of Youth. Beat the baddies as expected, and drink from the fountain, and voila, out pops Chris Pratt as a much younger Indy. And then you can continue the series and it doesn’t even have to feel like a reboot to the casting. Imagine a future film that’s basically a buddy comedy between himself and his son at the same age. or perhaps ending up even younger and being forced back into school, talking circles around the professors.
