    Disney’s “current” initiatives?
We only got the first Maleficent movie as an attempt to figure out why Tim Burton’s Alice had been so danged popular (“It’s dark fangirl fairytales?”), which “Alice Through the Looking Glass” later brought to a stop.

The second “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” sequel was basically, like the upcoming Cruella movie, an overlooked memo from ’11-’12, and, critics say, LOOKED like one.
It was only dug out of the trash bin because of their new mania for live-action re-promotion, on the money they thought Mulan was going to make before the Pandemic, and that’s still being debated.

…Nowadays, with or without theaters open, most of the non-essential live-actions are going straight to Disney+. It’s over.

      Hi!

The “current initiatives” section refers specifically to Disney’s new inclusion training, which is linked in the article.

      Thanks for reading!

  2. I think it would be a good idea for Shameik Moore to be cast as young Facilier in the Facilier movie which should happen after Cruella.Itwould be a cool storyline and would give us some more background on his character.Disney all the way
