Weather is notoriously unpredictable, and it can be exciting or a downer for a Walt Disney World vacation. Unfortunately, poor weather can be common in Central Florida and this week was no exception.

Topical Storm Eta has been slowly making its way across Florida and with it being heavy wind and rain.

We have videos that show what being inside a Disney park during a tropical storm looks like!

Thankfully even though the weather is nasty, it is not as intense as a full-blown hurricane, and if you are creative and have the right attitude you can make the best of a less than ideal situation!

Ponchos are available at nearly all retail locations at Disney World since rain is seen so often at the parks, and you can bring your favorite umbrella from home! Make sure you wear the correct footwear so you don’t have cold wet feet!

Remember that indoor rides are still operational during a storm at Disney World. So you do not have to worry about missing out on riding those fun rides like Toy Story Midway Mania or Space Mountain. Just plan accordingly, keep an eye on the weather before your trip, and be flexible.

Truly, we are lucky that this tropical storm is not too heavy in the parks. It seems that park Guests are still having a great day despite the rain.
