Hong Kong Disneyland is now the second Disney Park to have shows return to its Castle Stage.
At the same time it officially unveils its new Castle of Magical Dreams and begins celebrating its 15th anniversary, Hong Kong Disneyland is breaking in its new castle stage by bringing back its holiday castle stage show, Mickey and Friends Christmastime Ball.
This news was shared by @hkdlfantasy on Instagram saying “Mickey and Friends Christmastime Ball is back at new castle stage!”

Hong Kong Disneyland’s website confirms that the show has returned with the next shows planned for November 21 at 12:45 pm, 2:30 pm, and 5:15 pm local time, and it describes the stage show as “A yuletide musical extravaganza, sing along to classic Christmas tunes with a live quartet of singers and watch as your favorite Disney Characters take the stage.”
As of now, it should be mentioned that Mickey and Friends Christmastime Ball will only be shown on select dates between now and November 27. Hong Kong Disneyland’s holiday festival “A Disney Christmas — Treasure Your Traditions” began on November 14 and will be held through January 1, 2021.
Hong Kong Disneyland is now the second Disney theme park around the world to have live shows return to the castle stage, following Shanghai Disney Resort, and we hope it is the start of a trend that sees shows returning safely to other Disney Parks around the world. It has also been speculated that Hong Kong Disneyland will be the next park to bring back their nighttime fireworks spectacular.
