Hong Kong Disneyland has been renovating their castle for a long time now. Since it’s announcement of a castle makeover in 2016, Guests of the resort have been patiently waiting for the grand reveal. Due to the ongoing pandemic, construction was delayed, but the anticipation has continue to build for this new park beauty.
Now, Hong Kong Disneyland has just announced that the Castle of Magical Dreams will be opening this month! The beautiful renovation includes new spires and symbolizes 13 Disney princesses and queens. Guests will be able to recognize their favorite Disney heroines among depicted icons such as Cinderella’s coach and Belle’s rose.

Starting November 21,2020, Hong Kong Disneyland will enter a magical milestone, as it officially celebrates its 15th anniversary with the opening of the reimagined castle – the Castle of Magical Dreams.
Inspired by 13 stories of beloved Disney Princesses and Queens, the Castle of Magical Dreams offers something special for every Guest with its many towers and spires embracing iconic patterns, textures, colors and ornamentation unique to each story.

The Castle of Magical Dreams was originally supposed to open in early September of this year. However, due to Hong Kong Disneyland’s two closures, construction was delayed for a while. Now, with the park operating smoothly and safely, it is great to see this beautiful masterpiece finally realized – and still just in time for the resort’s 15th anniversary!
