Credit: DisneyAfter months of closure due to the pandemic (and after reopening and closing once again), Hong Kong Disneyland is officially open!
Just a few days ago the theme park announced their reopening date for September 25th. After having being closed for months, reopening, and having to close again suddenly, this came as a shock and surprise for Guests!
The park will be operating 5 days out of the week and will be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The theme park has also implemented health and safety protocol to help keep Guests and Cast Members protected.

Here, @mabelho4 show us how Mickey Mouse is social distancing while embracing the reopening!
Judging from the live feed, the park and its Cast Members are doing a great job of keeping everything and everyone safe. Guests and Cast Members are wearing masks. Social distancing measure appear to be in place between Guests and even with character meet and greets. Also, it looks like there are plenty of hand sanitizing areas.
After reopening and then reclosing due to another COVID-19 outbreak, anticipation for this park to open its gates again was pretty high. Now with all of that behind them, it’s great to know that Hong Kong Disneyland will get to celebrate their 15th anniversary with their gates finally and safely reopened. The park urges Guests to #BelieveInMagic and come celebrate their reopening!
