Disney is giving Guests some new options when it comes to the cleaning of their rooms to ensure they feel as safe as possible during their stay at a Disney World Resort Hotel during the current pandemic.
Inside the Magic can confirm that these are the following housekeeping options that are being given to guests.
These options, which are being offered to our senior editor at Inside the Magic for an upcoming November 2020 vacation, are also being offered to her well into next year. (She currently has a January 2021 and a Sept-Oct 2021 vacation in which these options show for both during online check-in). So if you are planning to visit Walt Disney World for its 50th Anniversary Celebration you can expect to see these options presented during your online check-in process.

dvcnews.com also reported the options that are currently being offered for DVC guests. Their report reads:
For Disney Vacation Club stays of 7 nights or less, housekeeping will empty trash and replace towels on day 4. For longer stays, villas receive a full cleaning on day 4 and the trash and towel service on day 8.
Services are being presented as “optional” in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. All Disney hotel rooms will recieve a deep cleaning between parties. Mid-stay services have been made less intrusive to minimize interactions between guests and housekeeping staff.
These options are given to you during the virtual check-in and are intended to give you peace of mind during your stay.
Disney is truly taking their Guests and Cast Members’ safety seriously. Just last month they were surveying Guests and asking if they felt like the health and safety protocols put into place upon reopening made them feel safe, 80% said yes. You can read all about that guest feedback here.
