On the 49th anniversary of @waltdisneyworld I’m releasing my official announcement of my retirement. I read for years “I sustain myself with the love of family.“ Maya Angelou has always been right. Family first. But I was never able to do that… . . I’m thankful for fifteen amazing years at Disney. A job that was fun, fulfilling, and creative. Last week, I wrote a letter to my proprietor and alerted her that I will not be returning to Disney full time. After fifteen years I needed to be with my family. Believe it, or not, some things are bigger than Disney… . . The past 7 months made me realize, my daughter will grow, my parents will die, and my husband will work. I always told myself, I’ll get to them… just have to finish this gig. This work week. This project. Covid set me straight… . . To be completely honest. A lot of people ask about money. “How can you leave Disney and provide for your family?” Last year, my husband and I took a course with @ftsfinancialcoaching. We are completely debt free because of Kyle. This changed my life, my relationship with money, and my future. This IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT. Kyle did not pay me. He has just launched his business and is offering these classes to everyone. It’s because of him, I can spend this much needed time with my family. Go follow him. Click the link in my bio to take you to his website. You can ask questions there as well… . . What is important to you? If money stands in your way of that, maybe now is the time to fix it. Family first. Always.

While Ptashinsky’s antics will certainly be missed by fans during the Frozen Sing-Along show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park, his reasons for leaving his career behind are admirable and heartwarming.
