On his official Instagram account (@equityben), Ptashinsky shared the following post.
He wrote:

While Ptashinsky’s antics will certainly be missed by fans during the Frozen Sing-Along show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park, his reasons for leaving his career behind are admirable and heartwarming.
