It’s here! The Walt Disney World Resort Disney Springs PhotoPass Studio location is up and running, ready to welcome you, your family, and friends for a spooktacular photo session with all your favorite backdrops. Reopening a short while ago, some Disney Guests have already been sharing some of the most wonderful memory-building photos from the Studio, complete with safety precautions like face masks.
Per the Disney Parks Blog, “It’s beginning to look a lot like the holidays at the Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs! Starting November 16, get all your family photos for the holidays, including a virtual backdrop featuring Santa, and other festive virtual backdrops that combine the magic of the holidays with the magic of Disney! To download all the photos taken the day of your visit (including your photos from the studio from that day), take advantage of a special offer of $49.99 for Memory Maker One Day, in addition to great prices and specials on prints, available only at this location November 16 through December 26, 2020. Put on your ugly (or not-so-ugly) Christmas sweater, and jingle all the way to the studio – no reservations required.”
Disney Springs PhotoPass Studio Has Reopened
After a chat with Disney Cast Members on the PhotoPass line, Inside the Magic confirmed that YES the Disney Spring PhotoPass location has reopened, ready to welcome guests into the studio. Face masks remain mandatory, just as the rest of Disney property requires them, and all hands-on props have been removed from use.
Heidi Hill, a Disney fan and recent guest of the Resort, visited the Disney Springs PhotoPass Studio on October 6th, with her daughter for a magical photoshoot. She says of the magic Disney made for them, “The cast members were very respectful and made her feel special.” Her daughter sported a very special Merida dress in lieu of visiting the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, (closed currently) and snapped away with a fun Maleficent background.
Mariah Hughes, a Disney Annual Passholder, tries to experience Disney’s magic about once a month, and this most recent trip had a pleasant surprise at Disney Springs. The Disney PhotoPass Studio was open for her October 10th trip, so she took her whole family in for some backdrop fun.
Not only did the Hughes family virtually get spooked by Maleficent also, but they got a “personal fireworks show” at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre! What a treat!
The Best PhotoPass Photo EVER
By far the BEST PHOTOPASS STUDIO PICTURE we’ve ever seen came in the form of a traditional family sitting for the Hughes family, whose kiddos were just not into it. The realness comes in the form of scattered attention, rolling kids, attention-needing parents, and an allover sense of real life. We’re hoping that Mariah uses this for her family holiday photo or greeting card…Â it’s just perfect on so many counts.
When you’re ready for a magical photo shoot of your own, call Academy Travel at 609-978-0740. They’ll help you line up a smile for the birdie behind a Disney face mask of your own. You can find the Disney Springs PhotoPass Studio open now, following along the hours of Disney Springs shopping district in general. The Disney PhotoPass hotline did mention that the studio may close a little earlier than retail stores or eateries, and those hours may vary in the future.
