Walt Disney World Resort has been rolling out a number of new features related to various dining locations on property. We’ve reported on the newly added walk-up waitlist feature that was added to the My Disney Experience app to allow for Guests without dining reservations to dine almost immediately at table service restaurants (when available).
Now, Disney is beginning to allow Guests to utilize mobile order at select table service restaurants.
Mobile order has been in place for some time now at quick service dining locations across Walt Disney World property. But since more and more Guests are opting to order food to-go and dine outside or even bring their food back to their Disney Resort hotel rooms, it only makes sense for Disney to allow Guests to utilize mobile order for some of their favorite table service restaurants, as well.
If you take a look at the screenshot below, you will see that Sanaa — a table service dining location at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village — is now offering mobile order. The mobile order option for Sanaa is not found via the normal Sanaa page on the My Disney Experience app (the official Disney World mobile app). Instead, you select “Sanaa To Go” on My Disney Experience to be directed to the mobile order page.
A pop-up window also appeared shortly after we began to view food options on mobile order. This explains how Table Service To Go works.
Note that many of your favorite items — like the classic Sanaa bread service we know and love — are available via mobile order on the Sanaa To Go option.
Also note that you select your arrival window, just as you do with any other type of mobile order you would place in the Disney World app.
