    It won’t be Figment,if he isn’t a purple dragon

I don’t think The Flintstones Dino should replace our beloved Figment.

Please just bring him back in his original form in an updated attraction. We’ve been waiting years for Figment to return to his original glory. Please don’t improve the attraction and take away the Figment we all know and love.

Looks like Dino from Flintstones, please don’t mess with Figment’s actual look and structure. Have him in different outfits or something don’t give him a total facial reconstruction.

keep the original Figment. Change is not always good. Figment is my favorite Disney character. Please keep him in his original imaginative form. Thank you.

Looks like Dino from the Flintstones. If it’s purple then it WILL be Dino from the Flintstones.

Keep the original Figment – nothing wrong with that, just update the ride.

Why???? There is absolutely no reason to change Figment. Leave him alone. Next thing I guess is to change his color.

Why is the Dreamfinder “infamous?” That adjective was used a couple times in the article.

  8. Alex

Dreamfinder has become somewhat of a legend amongst Disney Park lore. He’s considered “infamous” by many due to his short-lived period in EPCOT, but has become a legend. He’s “infamous” due to his unnecessary disappearance and legacy.

We all know that Diz will NEVER restore this ride to its former glory. I say just gut the whole pavilion and move it’s a small world there, then use the old MK building for several dark rides.

PLEASE DO NOT change Figment!!!!!! Isn’t one previous screwup of Journey Into Imagination more than enough???? Figment is THE classic Epcot character and mascot. DON’T mess with perfection again!!! Bring back the original attraction in an updated form with state of the art lighting and music and maybe some new costumes but LEAVE FIGMENT’s APPEARANCE ALONE!!!!! PLEASE!!!!

We agree! We love the original Figment. We were disappointed when we went on the 2nd version and won’t go again. Bring back the original!
Speaking of re-dos, we did NOT like the new HS M&Ms Runaway Railway. We did like the old Great Movie Ride. Why didn’t they just update it? It is HOLLYWOOD after all, where GREAT movies are made!

    Seriously!?!

Just leave Figment alone! Not everything has to change..not everything “needs updating”

We are DVC members who have been going to wdw since 1982 and obviously there have been many changes over the years, but Im tired of them ruining fan favorites. Giving Figment a complete facial reconstruction to look dopey and completely different is just going to alienate everyone who loves him now.

Disney, please just ask every single guest if Figment needs to be changed and go with the result. Im confident in the outcome

I know this is an older post, but I have been worrying lately about Figment and the ride’s future fate. While it’s true that the ride in its current state is just ridiculous, I think it’s safe to say that most people would not be ok with the disappearance of Figment from the ride. Especially not for some over hyped IP replacement that will take no imagination and is just a way for them to push sales. There is no reason that Figment shouldn’t be the star of a great ride, as he was intended to be, with Dreamfinder making a much awaited reappearance. I hope that whoever is calling the shots will get a clue and realize what they have been doing these past few years with all the IP garbage and “minimalism” is really tacky and corny. Can we please go back to innovation, creativity and integrity?? Or has Disney died for good…
