If you had booked a Disney Cruise Line vacation for 2020 or 2021, you’re in luck. Though the pandemic significantly affected Disney Cruises and other vacations to Disney destinations around the world, Disney is continuing to take care of their Guests.
This morning, we received word that Disney Cruise Line has temporarily extended final payments for sailings through March 31, 2021. Additionally, Disney Cruise Line relaxed the cruise cancellation fee schedule through March 31, 2021.
Those who had cruises booked are receiving the following email:
Dear [Guest Name],
All of us at Disney Cruise Line continue to think of you and your family. We realize these are uncertain times for many of our Guests, and want to let you know we’ve temporarily modified our final payment and cancellation policies to provide you with greater flexibility.
For sailings through March 31, 2021, we are temporarily extending final payment until 60 days prior to sailing for Guests booked in unrestricted stateroom categories. Remember: you can still book a Disney Cruise Line trip for the future. Although many sailings for 2020 have been canceled and are being removed from the DCL website, there are still plenty of opportunities to sail in 2021. And when it comes to when Disney Cruise Line could resume sailing, we reported that it looks like that could be happening sooner rather than later.
