Disneyland and Disney California Adventure remain closed due to the pandemic, however, Downtown Disney has reopened to Guests not too long ago.
Though Downtown Disney has been opened to the public again since July 9th, today, a new health warning appears via the Disneyland app for visitors. One of our Inside the Magic reporters is currently visiting Downtown Disney and saw the warning for the first time, which is identical to the one we reported on during the reopening preview for Disney World.

It reads as follows:
We have taken enhanced health and safety measures-for you, our other Guests and Cast members-and we ask that you follow all posted instructions while visiting the Disneyland Resort.
However, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Covid-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By visiting the Disneyland Resort, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Downtown Disney Popularity
Downtown Disney has seen significant enough guest traffic that on occasion they even have to hault parking temporarily in order to keep physical distancing for guests entering. With enough guest to prompt parking delays it is no wonder the health warning was added to the Disneyland app. Keeping visitors informed helps keep everyone safe.
Downtown Disney Update: To promote physical distancing, we may need to occasionally pause parking and entry into the Downtown Disney District due to limited capacity. Entry will resume as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience!

As Disneyland is rumored to be getting closer to opening the parks it is important that Downtown Disney reopening continues to go smoothly and safely. It is clear from the safety precautions Disney is putting into place that they are taking a serious approach to health and safety of all guests and cast members.
