Artist Grant Fukui has been busy! Taking plastic Disney shopping bags to a whole new level, Grant has been showcasing his redesigns on Instagram, featuring bags, accessories and gear for himself. His art has grown in popularity, and now his followers are clamoring to purchase his creations.

The idea of recycling Disney shopping bags into new items has taken off since we initially covered the Ball Gown made of Disney shopping bags!

Art from Disney Shopping Bags

Grant F Art, as the Instagram account is known, showcases Grant’s musings with recycled and discarded Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort shopping bags. The plastic bag trash that one can accumulate from a week-long Disney vacation at a Resort Hotel is quite large, leaving artists such as Grant with a wealth of materials.

Grand takes this leftover plastic waste (and in the case of FASTPASSES, paper) and makes tote bags of it. This Instagram post shows his latest reusable shopping bag, complete with Disney Park logo and reusable sturdy straps. He’s even looking for a Disney fan to test it out before he finishes his online store.

Next up, Grant has turned some Disney Store bag fronts and backs into a covering for an umbrella! Thinking outside the tote bag box, this plastic shopping bag umbrella is a perfect use of the plastic bags. Watch that popup shower repel right off your fun afternoon at a Disney theme park!

Jumping back into the small bag world (why not, right?) we see some new silhouettes from Disney shopping bags with Pixar designs and a reinforced strap model. About the same size and it’s Disney store predecessor, it’s a new feel on an old shape.

And the pièce de résistance, in the eye of Disney Guests, is the FASTPASS park bag. This reusable bag is actually made of upcycled and reinforced paper fast passes from Disneyland Park. A large bag, this one could surely tote either a load of groceries or plenty of merchandise home from the Disney Store!

Perhaps the CUTEST addition to Grant’s art collection is the teeny keychain style Disney Store bag that he added to his keyring. The tiny piece garnered lots of IG comments and we admit, we want it, too! SO TEENY!

While Grant’s store is not yet up and running, we’re drooling in anticipation of that FASTPASS bag. Which of these Disney shopping bag creations would you pick up? Leave us a comment below.
