If you’re looking to visit Disney World this year and you haven’t yet booked a trip, we’ve got you covered. Another hotel at Walt Disney World Resort has officially reopened, and starting today Guests can stay at one of the closest hotels to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The Walt Disney World Swan Resort has reopened to Guests today. This means another option for accommodations has reopened for those looking for a place to stay on their next Disney World vacation.
In a press release, it was confirmed that several dining options and amenities are now available to Swan Resort Guests.
Walt Disney World Swan guests will be able enjoy the resort’s signature dining options, with physical distancing, including sushi at Kimonos and the tastes of Italy at the award-winning Il Mulino New York Trattoria. Other dining options will include a full-service breakfast at the park-themed Garden Grove, poolside dining at Splash and grab-and-go food and drink for those on the go from Java.
Amenities offered include multiple pools, Swan paddle boats, a variety of recreational activities and the resort’s private white sand beach and health club.
The Swan has also implemented new protocols for the well-being of Guests. These protocols include the requirement of face masks, physical distancing, and enhanced cleaning measures. You can read about all of the new health and safety protocols now in place at the Walt Disney World Swan Resort here.
The Walt Disney World Swan Resort is very conveniently located. Nestled between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Guests can walk to either theme park and even take a stroll to Disney’s BoardWalk to experience all of the dining and entertainment there.
Although it is not owned by Disney, the Swan and Dolphin Resorts are considered to be official Disney Resort hotels. That means that Guests staying here have the same benefits as Guests staying at hotels that are owned and operated by Disney. You get access to booking dining reservations 180 days in advance, FastPass+ reservations 60 days in advance, transportation to and from the theme parks, Extra Magic Hours, and more. Although things like FastPass+ and Extra Magic Hours are currently suspended, the perks of staying at the Swan Resort now that it has reopened remain the same as if you were to stay at any other Disney Resort hotel this year.
