Clearly nobody wants to hear old slave jingles while waiting in line.

That, or they could just be whistling Dixie.

Actually, snowflakes are offended. The rest of us are fine. Everything is racist these days it seems. Furthermore, Darth being black and all, you are making light of his blackness by your name “Darth Huh. I’m offended.

As soon as I heard Disney was participating in cancel culture, i canceled them from my stock portfolio and would encourage everyone to hit them in the only place they understand.

Whelp today is good a day as any to cancel my spotify.

Good grief.. I understand that ride themes evolve (pirates, space, etc) and evolution is okay.. but to tie the evolution to a political issue is just wrong. Splash was fun… as-is.. if it evolved naturally, good.. don’t force it.. as for the song being pulled.. Spotify… you can go have a f****** zipidee doo dah day.. morons

    going a bit to far

Stupid to remove Zipidee Zoodah song. Maybe the movie offends people but the song just talks about what a wonderful day it is. Its a fun catchy tune don’t put it in the vault.

      Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah actually…

  7. Piglet

So ridiculous! As is ruining the ride. There is absolutely nothing racist about the characters or the ride or the music in any way, shape or form. Snowflakes will always melt…

    1. Carmine Crincoli

I agree! The Splash Mountain and Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh tracks should be on there because the Pooh track was removed due to a glitch!

You can still listen to it on Spotify – just not on that album. It’s on the official parks playlist. Pulling from the Legacy Collection Disneyland album

I want Splash mountain to remain unchanged. It is NOT a racist ride & needs to remain unchanged. I will not go back. If it was racist why were black people riding it everyone I went? Also, the song is about being happy & having a wonderful day

Talk about judging… I’m a Democrat and I’m really going to miss Splash Mountain. The ride had no direct references to racism and if you are no familiar with the movie you wouldn’t get the from the ride itself.

Splash mountain is great like it is!! Go to your happy place!

  12. Everyone is way to sensetive over every issue . Changing splash mountain is taking the fun abd fantasy out of going to Disneyland. Abd that is so sad 🙁

Oh kay…Lets REMOVE any indication that could offend someone , like Zipa dee do dah, or Brer Rabbit, Brer bear…lets get rid of it. It might make us THINK of Slavery …but lets put souvineer shop at end of ride filled with merchandise manufactured in countries like bangladesh, hati, china, india, etc where Slavery still exist. And EVERYONE leaves that park with a “Made in ” souvineer made with Slave Labor…

    1. Disneyana Jones

This is the same thing as Apple Music…but for years. The Disneyland Album still has Splash Mountain on both Apple Music and Spotify 🙂

Cancel culture wants us to forget our history as American people. That is why they tear down statues of men who fought for our Independence years ago. Men who changed the way our country is for the better. They do this because those men where white. They would like to transform this nation into Black America, and blame all white people for the issues our country faces. It is so wrong and very racist on cancel cultures part.

  15. Susan

Some of our greatest hymns have risen out of that time in history. If we are going to eliminate everything and ignore history… we are in a sad place as a nation!

  16. Anne

This is just getting ridiculous. Splash Mountain is a cute ride and happy songs. Sad day for Disney when they decided to retheme it.
