Cameron Boyce

One year ago today, the Disney Channel family lost one of its own, Cameron Boyce. On July 6, 2019, the beloved star passed away from an ongoing medical condition at the age of only 20.

Cameron won over the hearts of Disney fans everywhere for his roles as Luke Ross in the Disney Channel show, Jessie, and Cruella De Vil’s son in the Disney Channel Descendants trilogy.

Today, in honor of his life and career, fans have taken to Twitter to once again show their continued love for an actor who touched their lives in an unforgettable way.

Here are a few tributes that caught our attention:

User @razzlerocks wrote, “A year ago, today, Cameron Boyce passed away. We miss you, and love you so much, Cameron. Thank you for being such an angel.”

@_cameronlegacy wrote, “Cam, you left a mark in our hearts. It’s been a year since heaven gained the most beautiful angel. You will always be alive in our minds and in our hearts. We promise to make you proud. We love you always and forever, Cameron Boyce!”

@Shikerria8 wrote, “A year ago today July 5, 2019 was Cameron Boyce last day. You just never know. Love your family and friends. Love is powerful and Cameron was the living definition of love. RIP. You are missed Cameron. I hope there will be a cure for Epilepsy. Your energy will never die.”

@setit_offf wrote, “Cameron Boyce did so much with his twenty years. It was a joy to watch him grow up and mature and expand creatively. Tonight hurts. It hurts knowing he had so much left to do.”

@emsbookishadv wrote, “It’s been a year since Cameron Boyce died… I remember it so clearly. Truly the first death that impacted me so deeply. He was young, talented, and had a whole life ahead of him.”

Twitter has taken moments to remember Cameron Boyce twice so far this year. The first was when the American actor would have celebrated his 21st birthday, and the other was a few weeks later when his name was trending with Robbin Williams and Carrie Fisher as Twitter users remembered which celebrity deaths have affected them the most.
