There’s no more June gloom and Disney magic is sprouting like wildflower. This time the magic is coming from across the Pacific Ocean at Tokyo Disneyland Resort and Tokyo DisneySea! On Wednesday, July 1st at 8 a.m. local time, Tokyo Disneyland Resort reopens its doors to Guests for the first time since February 29.
Tokyo Disneyland Resort is excited to start welcoming guests back again.

“I want all of my guests to feel at ease, so I have taken all possible measures to that end. I would like to create a happiness for the park,” said Yutaka Kakinuma General Manager, Attraction Management Department of Oriental Land Company, according to Yahoo News Japan.

Shortly after Japan lifted its state of emergency, Tokyo Disneyland announced the soon reopening of Ikspiari Shopping Center and on June 1st, Ikspiari Shopping Center at the Tokyo Disneyland Resort reopened allowing Disney fans to start enjoying a little piece of Disney magic. It started with limited hours, as well as, only some of the amenities being available. A limited capacity of Guests were granted access upon a temperature check at its entrance.

Just a couple weeks ago, Tokyo Disneyland announced that it would be reopening on July 1st. The day has finally come, and it’s opening its doors with new safety measures as seen at the reopening of both Shanghai Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland. Cast Members have been working tirelessly to prepare for this reopening, and they’re excited to welcome their guests back!
Guests have been so excited for Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea to reopen! So much so, that it even crashed the website. Many were trying to purchase tickets and find out more information on measures they would need to take before arriving to the parks.
