This morning, we reported on Disney’s update on Health and Safety Measures as they prepare for the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort’s theme parks and select resort hotel reopenings.
In true Disney fashion, they’re bringing in these measures in Disney-style by recruiting the help of our favorite superhero family, The Incredibles!
In a recent Disney Parks Blog Instagram post, they shared:
Incredible guests wanted! Ready to spring into action? The Incredibles are here to help you prepare for an incredible day at Disney. Visit the Disney Parks Blog for all the details.
During the reopening of Disney Springs, the first U.S. Disney Property to reopen, Disney introduced a team of Cast Members to encourage visiting guests to social distance and practice all the new health and safety measures during their visits.
When this new Cast Member team was introduced, Disney shared the following information letting guests know how this team would work their magic.
How will physical distancing guidelines be enforced?
Managing density within Disney Springs has been a major consideration as we implement physical distancing guidelines based on recommendations from health authorities and government officials. One of the ways to do that is to limit the number of Guests in any given time for each location. One-way and other directional signage has been installed to assist Guests to responsibly move throughout the property. Additionally, ground markings have also been installed to allow for proper physical distancing when queuing is needed at a location. We are also adding a new team to engage with Guests and promote physical distancing guidelines in common areas and queues.
This team has now been renamed the INCREDI-CREW and will be rocking themed masks! Leave it to Disney to make any situation more magical!
We’re excited Disney is making this new normal magical for visiting guests, as we know some of the new protocols can seem overwhelming. We look forward to seeing the INCREDI-CREW at the parks once they reopen starting July 11th!
