As Disneyland has decided to push back the reopening of its theme park resort the company has announced that guests who booked hotel stays on property at the time of its proposed reopening will be receiving an email soon allowing them to cancel or modify their hotel reservations.
Disneyland Resort previously had plans to reopen its theme parks and hotels beginning July 17. However, earlier this week the State of California indicated that it will not issue theme park reopening guidelines until sometime after July 4. Due to this delay, the theme park resort had no choice but to push back the reopening of their theme parks and resort hotels until further notice.
In an email to Inside The Magic from Disneyland Resort, the company shares that once it has a clearer understanding of when guidelines will be released from the State of California they will be able to work towards a reopening date. Although, for now, guests who already booked stays at Disneyland Resort Hotels for stays at the time of the reopening until July 31 should be expecting email communication letting them modify or cancel their Disneyland Resort hotel reservations or Walt Disney Travel Company packages.

This is not the first time guests looking to stay at the Disneyland Resort have had to modify or cancel their reservations due to the current pandemic. The last time we saw Disneyland Resort travel being impacted by the viral illness was back in June when guests were receiving notifications of their travel dates between June 28 through July 22.
