Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida recently announced their reopening plans and dates for the theme park. Along with these plans, Disney also announced quite a few changes that would take place when the Disney parks reopen in order to help keep the theme park safe. One of the changes being a new reservation system, which, as of right now, we still don’t know much information about.
However, it does look as though Walt Disney World is gearing up to release the new reservation system soon. Disney World just released a statement urging guests to link their theme park tickets to the My Disney Experience app prior to the new reservation system being launched.
So if you have any Disney park tickets, be sure to read this statement from Disney World and get ready for the reopening of Walt Disney World Resort!

Link your Walt Disney World Ticket or Pass
To prepare for making Theme Park reservations, each Guest in your travel party must have a valid ticket linked for each day they wish to visit the Disney Parks. Please note: If you have a room and ticket package for a select Walt Disney World Resort hotel, your tickets will be included when you link your Disney Resort reservation and you can skip Step 3.
You’re almost done! Once the Theme Park reservation system is available, return to My Disney Experience to make Theme Park reservations. Remember, to enter a Disney Park, each Guest in your travel party must have both valid admission and a Theme Park Reservation for the same park on the same date, for each day they wish to visit the Disney Parks.
This news comes after we reported that Disney World is slowly implementing the new reservation requirements system for annual passholders! The Walt Disney World Annual Passholder blockout calendar has just been updated. The calendar now reflects that reservations are required for dates when annual passholders want to enter the parks. You can read more about this update here.
