    Once again Disney is making a change that will result in a very cold, stiff approach to the excitement of reservation and check-in they really were wonderful with the “Be our Guest, put our service to the test” days of old this was a huge part of Disney planning and fun, this Pandemic and all the rules with it are placing Disney at the same level of a traveling carnival I can not see their prices staying so high anymore as they are offering less and less of the Disney experience it’s very sad not an adjective I used to use when describing The Happiest Place on Earth.

    I don’t care how they do it as long as it is user friendly and fair. You have loyal customers that aren’t Annual Pass Holders that use all of Disney experiences including Cruises, Adventures, and both parks. But, we are within 60 days of the first opening and does anyone have a park reservation yet or been able to redo their dining reservations? Disney stop telling us what we can’t do and taking away all the makes Disney Disney…tell us what we CAN do.

    I would love to see additional tech to help in the planning and reservation process. On our last big trip to WDW, I loved being able to reserve almost everything online, and it was great. The things I ultimately called to do were reserving two suites at the Bay Lake Towers, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservations for our great nieces. At the time, BBB advanced reservations could only be done via phone.

    I also love being able to use app while at the park, and would welcome more functions. But, Disney needs to serious upgrade their wifi capabilities if they are going to do more that way. The two go hand-in-hand.

    But there are some experiences I want to keep with the cast members. I thoroughly enjoy the hotel check-in, even with a queue. There’s just something unique about the anticipation and interaction that happens there. Also, chatting with cast members at the restaurants and attractions, or meeting them around the parks or while taking transportation.

    So, bring on the tech, but remember that the cast members really do add to the experience at Disney.

    I love making all our plans online and including the grandsons! But could they make this any more confusing?!? I’ve been really savvy in the past but this looks like “what the heck?!??”
