If your family has been spending more time at home lately, you’ve probably been creating all sorts of adventures without ever setting foot outside. Nobody is better at making-up adventures than Winnie the Pooh and the Hundred Acre Wood gang.

Imagine you’re joining Winnie, Tigger, Roo, Eeyore, Christopher Robin, and the rest of their friends on a Huffalump-hunting journey when you add this Winnie the Pooh play tent to your home. When it isn’t being used for play acting, your kids can climb inside and create a cozy reading nook!

What You Need:

  • Drill
  • 1/2” drill bit
  • 4 (1/2-inch wide x 4′ long) wooden boards
  • 3 (1/2-inch wide x 5′ long) wooden dowels
  • 2 yards Winnie the Pooh fabric
  • Super glue
  • Brown paint
  • Paintbrush
  • 10” balsa wood board
  • 8” rope
  • Scissors
  • Fake foliage

What You Do:

Drill 4 holes into your 4 boards—2 holes should be 2 inches from the end of the boards and 2 should be 4 inches from the other end of the boards.

Push the wooden dowels into the holes in the boards, 1 should connect the top of your tent, and 2 should connect the bottom.

Drape the fabric over the top of the wooden dowel.

Glue the fabric onto the bottom 2 wooden dowels, by applying glue to the dowel and wrapping the fabric around it. Let the glue dry.

Paint “100 ACRE WOOD” onto your balsa wood (for an extra Winnie the Pooh touch, paint the “R” backwards).

Once the paint has dried, glue rope onto the back of the sign.

Drape foliage onto the front and back of the tent.

Hang the sign on the front of the tent. Have fun playing!
