Please pardon the pixie dust. The West Side Disney Springs Starbucks will be going through a remodel very soon!
The Disney Springs West Side Starbucks stand-alone store filed a permit with the state May 5th, 2020, just a few weeks prior to the Disney Springs re-opening scheduled for May 20th. This Starbucks sits across from the Disney Style store and next to Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight attraction.

The contractor listed on the permits is Elfrink Custom Construction, “a Florida based general building contractor, celebrating over 35 years of experience in commercial construction, retail stores, car washes and restaurant venues” according to their website. This general construction company has worked with Starbucks Coffee Company for approximately 10 years in Florida, and specifically with the locations at Disney Springs in the past.

No official word yet if Starbucks is among the retailers that will open back their doors when Disney Springs reopens partially on May 20th. However, you can find a current list of establishments that have shared reservation availability with a third-party booking website OpenTable here.
Disney Springs will be the first part of the Walt Disney World Resort to open back its doors. Disney will be observing the process along with the reopening in Shanghai to take their lead and see how the new health and safety protocols are followed. Followed.
The current safety protocols in Shanghai Disneyland include:
- Temperature Screenings
- Facemasks Required
- 30% guest capacity
- Fireworks and Parades canceled
- No character meet & greets
We anticipate seeing similar guidelines in the US Disney Parks upon reopening.
No official date has been announced, however, be sure to keep checking back with us here at Inside the Magic for the latest in Disney news and magical content. See ya real soon!
